Machine Assembly

Temporary Position

 

We are looking to recruit an experienced Production Operative to work within our busy expanding engineering firm.

 

Your responsibilities will include –

  • Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes and procedures
  • Reading and understanding written work instructions, engineering drawings and other manufacturing documentation
  • Machine operating
  • Comply with polices and guidelines
  • Complete all related paperwork
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area
  • Ensuring all health and safety standards are adhered to

 

The Person

 

  • Previous experience within a similar role
  • Excellent understanding of the English language – both oral and written
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Eye for detail

 

The Package

 

  • £ competitive temporary to permanent assignment
  • Hours of work Monday – Thursday 8am – 4.30pm, Friday 8am – 2pm

Administrator

Part time Administrator required to manage the engineering office within a growing busy engineering environment.

 

Your responsibilities will include –

 

  • Assist management with general administrative tasks
  • Produce correspondence and other documentation
  • Recording of Goods In/Out
  • Customer liaison
  • Arranging customer deliveries with our logistics partners
  • Support with purchasing requirements
  • General office tasks

 

The Person

 

  • Experienced administrator with an understanding gained from the manufacturing sector
  • Working knowledge of software packages including Microsoft Office and QuickBooks.
  • Attention to detail
  • Clear communicator with a good telephone manner.

Solidworks CAM Operator/Programmer

The role will require you to –

  • Set and operate CNC machines
  • Generation of CNC programmes using Solidworks

 

The person –

  • Apprentice trained mechanical engineer with experience of programming and operating milling machines, CNC lathes who has the ability to read engineering drawings.
  • Strong engineering background spent within ‘engineered to order’ environment.
